Growing up amid COVID-19
COVID-19 is disrupting young people’s lives and mental health, leaving many out of school, some with sick relatives or parents that have lost their jobs. In this podcast, we interview three “helpers” — teacher Katie Ricca, journalist Chris Colin, and high school student Diana Gomez — who have risen to meet the challenges of the moment and bettered their communities. Stanford’s Dr. Denise Pope also joins us to comment on the impact of COVID-19 on education.
